To encourage and reward academically inclined students, as well as to provide financial support for students who need it, we offer various scholarships and financial assistance as a motivation for students to make it through their higher education worry-free.

Merit Scholarship for Freshman

We awarded scholarship to students with outstanding academic achieve-ments in SPM/UEC/STPM. Freshman with completing entry registration will granted ONE YEAR entrance scholarship. Students in their second year who have achieved excellent academic result, demonstrated strong leadership qualities, carried out the service programmewell and diverse talents in their first year are eligible continue receiving these scholarship.

  • Only those candidate who obtained the certificate in recent 2 years are qualified to apply
Conditions Apply
  • Awardees must serve at least 125 hours of college service per academic year.
  • Awadess in the second year of study subject to fulfillment of renewal criteria.
  • Awardess are not allowed to apply Lim Keng Hun Study Grant.
  • Awardees are required to complete their education commitments

Sinchew Daily Education Fund

Offering a total scholarship value of exceeding RM103,000.00 being scholarships for deserving students duly selected by SCMCB. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and financial needs will be awarded 50%-100% tuition waiver.

Lim Keng Hun Study Grant

In order to encourage more students to pursue their dreams and to inject new blood into the local Chinese communication industry, the honorary former principle and founder of the collage, Mr Lim Keng Hun, has set up a scholarship to help the students with outstanding performance, achievements and in financial needs to complete their studies.

Eligibility
  • Current students with scanty periods
  • Must achieve GPA 2.0 and above in last semester
  • Not PTPTN loan holder
  • Not Other Scholarship holder
Grants & conditions
  • Open for application on 11st week every semester
  • Fully funded tuition fee and Miscellaneous fee of ONE SEMESTER for FIVE successful applicants
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Recipients must serve at least 50 hours of college service per semester.

MSEF SIYUAN Scholarship

The Malaysian Social Entrepreneurs Foundation "MSEF SIYUAN Scholarship" provides full scholarships to encourage and affirm children from low-income or unprivileged families who have excellent academic and moral qualities to continue their education and to assist them overcome family financial difficulties.

Eligibility
  • Full-time Diploma student with financial needy,
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.7500,
  • New Diploma students (Year 1 Sem 1) results requirement: SPM pass with at least 3 Credits (including English) or; UEC with at least 3 Credits (including English),
  • Must be a Malaysian citizen, and
  • Not be simultaneously receiving other scholarship

  • Family information and financial situation needed
  • The Scholar shall perform and complete community service in NGOs/charity organizations to be prescribed by MSEF within 4 years upon graduation.

Oneworld Hanxin JinBodhi Bursary

Bodhi Meditation Charity Foundation has set up JinBodhi Bursary for the purpose of providing financial aid to help underprivileged students to further their higher education.

Eligibility
  • Malaysian citizens aged 18 to 23 years old (based on his/her year of birth)
  • From underprivileged family with good academic performance
  • Possessed the certificate and examination result of STPM/SPM/Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
  • For Existing student must obtain GPA and CGPA 2.75 or above
  • Not accept any other educational financial aids except for Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN)
Grants & Conditions
  • Next Application Period: 20 May to 8 June 2024
  • Qualified recipients will receive the bursary until completion of college study
  • Qualified recipients must maintain GPA and CGPA 2.75 or above for every semester
  • Qualified recipients are required to attend student camps or other charity/volunteer activities organized by Bodhi Meditation Malaysia or its appointed organizations upon request.

PTPTN

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) was established under the National Higher Education Fund Act 1997 (Act 566). PTPTN started operations on 1 November 1997 at Kuala Lumpur and serves to provide students with affordable education loans, giving them peace of mind to pursue their aspirations.

PTPTN Criteria
  1. Malaysian citizens
  2. Not exceeding 45 years of age on date of application
  3. The remaining period of study upon application must exceed one year
  4. Have no other sponsor
  5. Passed SPM or UEC with credits in any 3 subjects, including English
