Oneworld Hanxin College to Discuss Death and Life Topic in April
Oneworld Hanxin College will hold a lecture on thanatology in April at its "Hanxin Lecture Hall," themed "Walking with Life: On the Matter of Life and Death." Four lecturers from the Xiao En Group's Counseling and Consultation Department will deliver four sessions.These four sessions are: "Are You Afraid of Death?", "On the Matter of Death", "When Grief Is Not Allowed", and "On Life and Death Imagery in Picture Books: A Case Study of 'To Live'". These four lecturers possess expertise in psychological counseling and life education, and are dedicated to promoting the concepts of a good life, a good farewell, and a good death, fostering a harmonious life.
In modern society, people often avoid discussing death, making it even more difficult to understand the meaning of life. We hope that through these four different courses, the public can gradually approach and understand life and death, while also learning how to face grief and loss, thereby seeing the value of life more profoundly.
Classes will be held every Wednesday in April—April 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd—from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM online via Google Meet. The minimum number of participants is 15. All interested public are welcome to register.
